Who We Are:
Legacy Motorsports is a veteran-owned precision engine machine shop serving Cape Coral and Southwest Florida. We specialize in automotive and marine engine machining with one non-negotiable standard: the work has to be right.
From detailed cylinder head work and precision block machining to complete high-performance and marine engine builds, we refuse to cut corners or settle for “good enough.” Every job is treated with the same discipline and accountability that defined the founder’s military and federal career.
William brings a background in finance, an MBA, and years of hands-on experience restoring classic muscle cars. Working alongside him is Master Machinist Anthony (Tony) Grudnosky, who contributes extensive high-level industry experience in automotive and marine engine machining, performance builds, and restoration. Together they combine disciplined process with real machining capability.
This shop was built for people who care how their engine is actually machined — whether it’s a classic restoration that needs power and reliability, a high-horsepower street build, or serious marine work.

Our Workmanship Guarantee
We stand behind the quality of our machining and assembly work. If a problem is found to be the direct result of our workmanship, we will correct it at no cost to you.

What We Do Not Cover

Off-road use, racing, or any extreme use — No returns, refunds, or warranty coverage for engines or components used in off-road, racing, or other extreme applications

Problems caused by improper installation, tuning, or assembly after the work leaves our shop

Failure of customer-supplied parts

Lack of maintenance, abuse, or operation outside normal conditions
Inspection & Evaluation
If you need us to inspect a part or engine that has an issue, we charge an inspection fee of $150 per labor hour. This allows us to properly diagnose the problem and determine the cause. If we determine the issue was caused by our workmanship, the inspection fee will be waived and the correction will be handled at no charge.
